Manual and Power Windows

Hey guy's, I wondered if it's possible to convert a power windowed car to manual. My car's doors are manual, but I am getting replacement doors.. however they are power windows.. and I dont really want to run all the wires etc.. can this be done? All the searches I found were manual to power, not the otherway around

well depending on how you read it, it could be power to manual. I'm a little dyslexic, so it works for me.

If your old manual regulators are still good, it's bolt-in swap. You will find that the two regulators use different holes in the door structure, (which are pre-drilled). That's the only difference between the two systems.

If you don't have any 1/4" rivets, you might want to weld some 1/4-20 nuts on the holes of the regulators so you can use 1/2" long bolts to mount them. It's next to impossible to get your fingers in position to hold the nuts in place to insert the bolts. I did that on my conversion and it worked perfectly. Cut out the holes in the door panels for the cranks and you are done.

But I did the manual to power and trust me it was well worth it. Cranking sucks.
