v6 tach swap with v8

Engine: 2002 Ls1
Transmission: t-56
Axle/Gears: Ford 9" 4.11 gears w/ locker
v6 tach swap with v8
ive got a 120mph v6 gague cluster and an 80mph v8 gauge cluster, could i simply pull the 120mph speedo out of v6 and plug it into the v8 cluster or vice versa? im just wondering if the tach will be correct.

just got the swap done, looks like i wont need the 140 gauges now, thanks!
