Re: Dash pad?

There is not a junk yard within 100 miles that has any 3rd gens around me...And the prices I seen for them on ebay I am thinking I could just get a new one?

Put up an ad on the board. There's usually a bunch floating around in great condition.

Re: Dash pad?

To my knowledge, there is no "new" ones anywhere - that's why the ebay sellers get the prices they do - there's just no option.

There is a seller on ebay that has dashpad covers ... A-1 Auto Parts. I talked to the manufacturer of the cover (A-1 just sells), and they said that it was a permanent cover that would last a lifetime with proper installation. This "cover" goes for about $130 - $150 with shipping. There was a write-up in a car mag where they recovered a 60's Dodge dashpad with one, and they had great review of the product.

Re: Dash pad?

Classic Industries sells them new, alittle pricey though. But will last longer than one on ebay for sure

You could do a google search for auto recyclers. Once you find a few scrap yards with internet sites, take a look around the site. Many of them have inventory lists that are updated every 24 hours and they are willing to ship worldwide.
