I have a few questions about guage clusters in my 1991 Camaro rs. When I bought it, all worked except the speedometer. I bought a used cluster, and had a mechanic put it in. He said only a couple of the guages worked. So I bought a third off ebay, and just put it in myself. I still have not speedometer. Also, I set the guages on the new cluster to where they were on the one I took out, and now they are all off. Should I just leave the guages where they are at when I replace a cluster? And what are the chances all three speedometers are bad? My mechanic said he tested the vss, but I don't trust him. The speedometer used to twitch up to speed after a while on the highway, and if I go on the highway, I will eventually get a check engine light. Any suggestions?
