I just got my 4th Gen seats in last night after driving more than 2 hours to pick them up at the nearest "Freight company"...grrr...anyway. The seat belt guids are not on the seats (you know, plastic thing the seat belt goes through to hold it...screwed into the top of the seat). Can the ones from my 3rd gen seats be used or do I need to buy ones for the 4rth gen?

I think they can be used. I have leather seats out of a 96 Z28 in my vert and it is also missing the guides. i had a couple from a thirdgen and they lined up with the holes and all.

I used my 82 guides on 94 leather seats and the worked. There is a piece of metal that attaches the guides so even if you have to tap new holes go for it.

You can get new ones from the dealer for ten bucks each. Same thing happened with mine.

Sweet, thanks! I'll probably get a set of 4th gen in time but for now, knowing my old ones will work gives me a bit of piece of mind.
