Headlight ****, and yes I searched :)

So I read all about the **** and removing the cluster, and the little mushroom.. etc...

After I pulled the plastic piece off as far as I could, I unclipped the switch for the defog.

Now I can see the little tiny button with the spring on it on the bottom of the plastic housing, but when I push it in my **** still doesn't come out.

It's an 88 IROC.

Do I gotta like push that little button like crazy hard in or something? I'm removing my cluster anyways to put some new blubs in...

Ideas?

Re: Headlight ****, and yes I searched :)

Have the **** all the way out, push the button, pull and wiggle the **** while pushing the button, releas button, pull again, push the button down and it should pop out.

its a pita x 100 but it will come out eventually, try several variations, put the **** into differnt postions, etc

good luck

Thanks bro.
Got it done.

Some advice for those who search and find this thread...

I took a butter knife and bent it up at about a 45' angle. Then pushed the button up as hard as I could. and pulled the **** out just twisting it left and right and literally with no warning it just popped right out of there...

So the ol' twist and jerk pulls off again.
