Power window failure
Alright, so today I was rolling down my drivers side window and about 2/3 of the way down it just stopped. I'm guessing that it is the switch as is wasn't in all that great of shape. The plastic bezel that surrounded the switch itself and keeps it from falling through the console was half missing (cracked in half). However, that is just my guess. Maybe it could be the window regulator or a loose wire, etc.
I really don't know what to look for, or how to repair anything that has to do with power windows. So basically my main question would be: "What is wrong with my power window?" and "how do I fix it?"
I need help ASAP. My window is stuck more than halfway down and it's has to sit outside for the night. I would really like to not have to do it again.

Re: Power window failure
Did you check your fuses? That would be the easy fix Could be several things, as you suggested the switch, the motor or loose wire.

Re: Power window failure
is there a seperate fuse for the driver and pass. window? My passenger window will still roll up and down just fine.

Re: Power window failure
no both work on the same fuse so its your switch, motor or loose wire

Re: Power window failure
unplug the pass side switch and plug into the driver side and see if it rolls up
