Car: 1986 pontiac firebird
Engine: 2.8l v-6
Transmission: 5-speed
Axle/Gears: stock
gauge swap woes please help if you can
im am in the process of swapping thegauge cluster out of my 85 firebird into my 86 firebird they are both v6 5speed but the 85 ust has a mechanical speedo which is why im doing this is the first place here in lies the problem none of the wireing is the same and i cant for the life of me figure it out so if anyone has any diagrams or know someone who has e this let me know it would greatly help me

Depends, I am sure someone in the forums here has a fix for this. if you were hard up, I am sure you can pull the whole speedo gear and cable from the 85 and put it in the 86. As for the wireing I am not really sure how it would be diffrent other than the electric speedometer. but then again I don't know the wireing diagrams for the firebirds either.
