For all the 4th gen seat conversions...

A few months ago, I located this fabric for a friend of mine. He had a 3rd gen at one time with this interior and loved. Now that he has a gorgeous 2002 SS, he modified the seats. I thought that others might consider the same. Enjoy.

Sorry Scott, I think it looks very importish, it is the kind of thing you would expect a guy with a civic to do. Go along with the Huge Camaro banner on a camaro. We all know what the hell it is, so what is the point.

They make custom covers now where you can send them a design and they will embroider anything you want, such as your cars name, etc.

However, I hear they are upwards of $700

Actually, having CAMARO in the seats that way, was a factory deal, in the early 80s. Somebody will point out which specific model/option it was.

And that was before "rice" began. So, it's not an import or rice thing. It's a copy of an OEM design.

Well, that is very good to know. I still think it looks silly.

Thanks for setting that straight though.

It doesnt fit the newer 4th gen interiors or the cars themselves. It was a very 80s theme that i liked. I would love to see those seats in a 3rd gen. Perferbly a gunmetal grey iroc .

Very Unique for sure, and it will be recognized at car shows by camaro enthusiasts

If the fabric looks like leather close-up then it might be ok...if it looks like fabric inset into a leather seat I don't think I would like it as much. Hard to tell from the pic. I agree, it would look good in a 3rd gen with a gun metal paint job. I don't think I am a big fan of the idea but I also don't hate it...kind of on the fence.

I thought it was goofy when the factory did originally and my opinion hasn't changed. My old S10 had the "truck" interior ( the word truck repeated over and over into a pattern ) which was even dumber.

I supposed it would help for all the people who can't seem to spell it right. Bugs me when I say it's spelled camAro and they stilll spell it Camero

Reminds me of the 80s.

To each his own though :-)

I never meant to imply that I liked it, heavens no! Just that it was a throwback to OEM.

As others have said, this interior fabric was available in the early 3rd gen Camaros with the Lear Siegler seats.
