Re: SEAT BELT PLASTIC ???
BUMP for a good post. This would work great for me. The receivers in my 87 Formula are SHOT. I did get some new grey receivers from a 1990 BUT I have to paint them to match my Carmine Red interior, not to mention they are pretty brittle already and probably won't last very long until they start cracking. If I could get my hands on a set that fit from a later model GM that would work.

Anyone????

the 3rd get seat belt recall is still out, my local GM dealership can still get seat belt recievers, also there is a red button repair kit on ebay motors, its GM parts

Re: SEAT BELT PLASTIC ???
Looks like a set from a 2003 Cavalier may work. See the post below:

I used Receivers from a 03 Cavalier, the housing is a lot thicker plastic, and more sturdy than the 3rd and 4th gen ones. And it was what I found in the color I wanted.

Sorry to resurrect dead threads. Both of my FRONT seat belt receivers are busted after today. I have a flawless interior and my plastic pieces seem to be breaking very easily. Russett interior on my 85 is not easy to find.

Just about any set of female recievers and plastic guides from most
mid 70s to mid 80s GM car will swap and work with the 3rd gen.
Camaro/bird male should/lap belt set up!

I got mine from a late 70s Olds Cutlass for FREE !!!!!
