Need help with steering column
I need some help putting my steering column back together. Im really hoping someone can help me out here. It was very loose so I took it apart and tightened up the 4 bolts as the tech article says, however the problem im having is when I took the pivot pins out and pulled it off pieces just kinda fell out and I have no clue whatsoever as to how it goes back together. Im really kinda screwed right now. What would really help me out is if someone has or knows where I can get an exploded view diagram that shows where all the parts go. Thanks so much for any help you can give.

... well I'm pretty sure tons of people here'd be able to help out - but just need some more information. Hows about snap some pics of the pieces that just fell out, and of your reprair job so far, and go from there.
Also a haynes or chiltons manual probably has an exploded diagram of the column. I did a quick search and couldn't find much for you.

Yeah the Chilton manuals just seem to give you enough picture information to get in trouble, and that's it. However they do come in handy sometimes. Good luck with the steering column. I've done a few of them, and it seems every time I have to put it back together, and then take it back apart, so on and so on. Very nerve wrecking. Good luck
