Re: Pillar pod gauge choices????Please help

well my man....if it helps i just bought the triple gauge pillar from autometer.
color: all black

i plan to fit it with a nitrous, airfuel and oil or volt gauge.

here it is....i won this sale.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...107914229&rd=1

i know the pillar is boxed up but its part # 12203......Trust me its a tight FIT....It looks VERY VERY GOOD installed.

the cons are:
1st...You must fit it FLUSH over the existing pillar....if you dont then you end up with lots of big holes in your existing pillar. But your a professional so no worries there.

2nd......after pillar is mounted up the dash pad seems like is doesnt want to go back in WITHOUT forcing IT. Which in my case led to a nice dash pad crack. My pad was old and dingy so i didnt get TOO mad.

last....its really not much room in between the existing pillar and the aftermarket pillar. You might end up sitting in your car for a couple hours just trying to wire up all 3 gauges. I advise you TRY to PRE wire everything you can then mount pillar.

peace

I think that the autometer carbon fiber series match the trans am interior best. You may need to keep saving if you are going to put a full set of electronic guages in.

What is it that you are wanting to monitor with the guages?

Triple with either Boost/vacuum, nitrous pressure(when I get the purge kit), trns temp, or oil tempurature gauges
