First before everyone starts calling me newbie or other names i wont mention, i HAVE done a search, i found a post by someone in another thread stating that the 93-97 CAMARO center console WILL not bolt up to a firebird...can anyone confirm that? just because i just picked up a 6spd center console out of a 95 camaro because it was black and honestly the ONLY one i could find, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

From what ive seen/been told the console will "fit" with the usual persuasion, but there is a larger gap between the console and the radio pod than you would find in the 98-02 consoles. In the stickies there is a 4th gen compatibility list and i think on the first page is a pic of the consoles side by side and you can see the difference

hmmm.....alllright thanks...i guess since ive already commited to buying it i might as well install it, and see what the worst outcome is..ive heard that because they dont have rear cupholders the rear seats drop flat....but other than that...i guess i have to take a slight risk and try it....tho its not a huge risk...the 95 console is only costing me $20 canadian anyway!
