Heater mayby broken??
Hi there...
I have some troubles on my heater system on my Camaro.
The functions: Vent, HTR and Windows are the same...Nothing is coming out of vents or down at pedals...Only at windows...Looks like it is stucked on that function....
The HOT air works perfect and so does the COLD air, but not the other functions. anyone know what this could be?..Mayby I have to buy a new Heater unit???

Sounds like the vacuum operated vent door isn't working. When you turn the **** to select between floor, vent, and dash, you're actually controlling vacuum to the vent door, which then moves, and diverts air to the correct vents. I'm betting the vacuum line simply isn't plugged in. Find the big wiring harness under the hood, that runs on the passenger side, by the A/C housing. There should be a small vacuum line coming out of it, near the passenger side valve cover. If it's not plugged in, connect it to a vacuum port on the carb/intake. If it is connected, make sure the vacuum line isn't broken or torn anywhere.

Ok, thanks...I will check today...But I could turn the vents OFF. does that have any other suggestions???
I could only switch between OFF and Dash. Everything is dash...But I will check this vacuum operated line today.
