Digital Dash TACH not working
I just got a GTA today and the rpm gauge is not working. When I turn the key from off to on, but not running, I see all the little rpm lines light up all the way to redline. When I start the car I get no reading at all though. What could be wrong?

Re: Digital Dash TACH not working
I would see if the tach wire coming off the distributor is cut.

Re: Digital Dash TACH not working
None of the wires coming out of the distributor are damaged at all. Is there a tach sensor?

Re: Digital Dash TACH not working
There's no sensor for the tach. It's wired directly to the coil.
I'm assuming the tach should be working if it lights up when you turn the key.
