I have an 85 Firebird which is in dire need of a steering column. Tilt is VERY sloppy, key won't turn and I can see a casting broken under the tilt area. It has a wheel but no horn. It's in sad shape right now. Basically... Junk.

AT, Floor shift, black, tilt, No cruise or pulse wiper.

My dad (the Camaro lover) found an 86 T/A column for sale locally.
It's from an A/T car. has tilt, cruise and delay wipers.

I think the Cruise is a separate plug...
What about the pulse wipers?
Will I be able to plug regular wipers into this harness?
If the whole plug changed for that option, I'll need the other connector to splice wires into this harness... Right?

<edit> I went searching in the "Electrical" topic and I think I found my answer already.
I guess I should have posted there first.

The wiper wiring harness is the same for the two wiper systems.
I need the wiper motor cover for a delay/pulse system to make it all work right.

I haven't found any Cruise wiring info yet.

yes cruise is a seprate plug..as for the wipers they will work fine..the delay wipers plug is just longer with a few extra wires on it.. but they plug in the same..you should be fine with that column..
