steering wheel problems
i swapped one of the 3 spoke GTA steering wheels into my 88 GTA which originally had the wheel with all the stereo controls. I had to do a little "custom" wiring to get my horn to work because the new wheel is single wire and the old one is dual wire. I got it on and the horn works, but now when you turn the wheel when it gets to the point in the turn where the turn signal would shut off if you had it on, its really hard to turn. if you watch, you can see the turn signal lever move when you get to that point. I took the wheel back off to figure out whats causing this, but i cant figure it out. Its become a real problem becuase when i'm turning the wheel tries to stop there when its on its rebound and i have to manually turn it back. I find myself swerving all over the place. Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions on what could be wrong/ how i can fix it?
Thanks,
Rich

Re: steering wheel problems
I think we are on the wrong page

see part number 5? You should swap that out with the one from the replacement steering wheel. The GM wheel with controls is usually different because it has extra parts for the plug.
