Rear Plastics not fitting???
Since i have had my camaro the rear plastics over the hatch motor and the spare tire didn't fit. well i bought some plastics out of a firebird. All of them fit except theses two. The to plastics stick up higher than the weather stripping and they dont sit in place... they almost like get in a bind. Almost like the need to be trimmed to get them to fit propperly. Is this because they are out of a firebird or camaro that is not the same year as mine? thanks alot. Please help me because its been a problem i have been trying to solve for a while. thanks alot. -Matt

Is the carpet interfering at the bottom?
While I've seen some not fit right because they were deformed by heat while not in the car, usually you can tell that's the problem.
Make sure the plastic push pins are going into there holes and not riding up over the anchors. That's what it sounds like is happening.
