Does anyone know if you can still get seat recliners new from GM? Or if there is an aftermarket repro? Anyone know what the part # is for this thing?

 

have any specifics on the car? Is it for your 88 IROC or another car? Im getting off in about 2 hours, I might have some time to look some part numbers. That is the driver side correct? ill see if I can get numbers for both sides

 

From what I can see, there's only 1 style of recliner. Here's the numbers:

Driver Side: 16805461 List $104

Pass. Side: 16805460 List $87

Both sieds show to be in stock at a few GM warehouses, so give those numbers to your local GM parts place and see when they can get them. From what I can tell though, they don't come with any kind of plastic handle, but I could be wrong. Hope this helps
