well needless to say im sure everybody knows about the aftermarket t-top headliner sag problems on the back rail. and how it leaves some of that body colored metal showing and looks nasty. well it finally got to me . to the point where i didnt want to drive the car with the tops off cause it looked horrible. if your go to your local parts store they sell this stuff that goes on the edge of your door( door ding molding) or something NOT THE MOLDING ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE DOOR the molding where it meets the rear quater panel. buy some of this and push it on the rail between the headline and the t-top gasket. it has a glue on the back so it will seal tight. its a 3 dollar mod that will hid any rust and any body color thats throwing your looks off. i figured id share this with you since it helped me out a little. i hope somebody finds this usefull any questions just ask

Is this the chrome or black strip that goes on the outside edge of the door? Do you have pics? Thanks and great tip!!
yes it is that stuff.i used black cause my interior is all black plus the t-top gasket is black so it was a no brainer.. but im sure you could paint to match that stuff

I would also love a picture since I just put a replacement headliner in my car two weeks ago. My gap isn't too bad, but if I could do something to make it better, that would be great.

the bad gap i have is along the t rail that runs front to back it gaps about 1 1/2 to 2 inches along hole length of the rail. how would you close that gap ? i'm thinking of JB welding some angle on to the liner to keep it more up right instead of spreading out so bad velcro did not hold at all.
