I bought my 88 IROC convertible last July - it has 2 cigarette lighters. The traditional panel has like rear defrost delete on the bottom panel, which is where the 2nd lighter (lighter **** is plain, top lighter with the graphics). Is this an after market modification or did some models actually come with 2 lighters(which I doubt)? Or do I have a really rare and valuable 2 lighter car?

ive never heard of anything like that. nor in any of my catalogs or hard cover history books does it even mention it as an option. but then again i may have over looked it because i mainly stay in the 85-87 iroc catagory. beats me. is your defrost switch in the center console. i know some berlinettas had them there

Post some pictures up of what your talking about :-)
I gotta learn how to put pics on a URL. Any help with that? Hey, I did get pics in my Garage page, that's a start. Sony - 5 speed, nice. Just swapped my 700R4 for a T-5. Love it! Lordmetal, thanks for the input. I assume the rear defrost switch was in the blank spot on the new panel, where the lighter was in the old one. Being a vert, I was guessing that would have been what was there. So, how do I get pics on a URL? Thanks!
