I need a new console and realized something: Is the center console the exact same between an auto and manual car except for the shift plate? Or are there some other differences that would cause the wrong console to fit poorly? Thanks for your help.

 

The console itself is the same. The shift plates are different. They Will Interchange. Hope this helps ya.
