yes, you can. Is it easy...no. Basically just a lot of wiring, and staring at wiring schematics all day long.

Yeah, not easy.... But possible!! its funny, I was just talking about this book on another forum....GM factory service manual. expect to pay around 100.00 for it. (Its not cheap, but it's all in there) I have heard you can get them at amazon.com. If you plan on keeping that car then, buy one of these. Everything you wanted to know about your car is in there... it is possible and as long as you don't care about the systems monitor working, it isn't hard. the holes for the connectors are behind the dash, you just splice wires together using the schematics and put it in, physically it drops right in. Me and a buddy did this to my 87 GTA a while back, all I need to do is figure out what wire is screwed up to fix the illumination and it should be good.
