best route for headliner

I need to repair or replace the T-Top headliner on my 87 TA. I have a gray interior & would like to know if I'm better off just having mine recovered locally or going with one of the ABS or fiberglass aftermarket replacments. If anyone has any opinions I would welcome the advise.

from what ive heard is if your piece is still intact, ie the cardboard or fibreboard or whatever it is...its better to just recover and it will properly..as i hear with the ABS even though its far more resilent some people report major fitting issues so its upto you and how much they will charge for the restore.

Go to a local shop and have them do and sit and have a coffee. By the time you order one install it and the problems tearing the car apart. I avoided all of that and had mine done locally. It cost about $150 and took about 1 1/2 hours and the coffee was free. My opinion.....
