my dash is perfect except for the drivers corner edge is torn off but a cover keeps it hidden if need be, but i was wondering..... Has anyone ever covered there dash in fiberglass and re-shaped it im just thinking this would be an easy way to make a "custom" dash that is already made to fit the car.

my bro is in the works of this but i dont think it will be done this season

 

i took out my heat and ac, so i pulled out the vent to the lower left and filed out the dash, fiberglassed the extra and used to jb weld to put a gauge retainer in the hole for an autometer gauge. i also took out the two middle top vents (camaro dash) and fiberglassed them over for a custom toggle switch panel

 

well havent done the dash yet but i did glass the console to kind of round all off all of it and took off the lid to the little compartment and glassed in and around it toalso round it off and keep thelid off for good ill get sone pics on sat. not finished yet but it coming along

 

I would like to see it done. Might look good!
