Recently Rained out and Carpet is Wet..

Just wondering if anyone knows of any spots where water might get in on a 87 Iroc w/ t-tops. Not sure if there are any common leak areas. I havnt driven the car in a while but for the past like 2 days it rained pretty hard and when i got in the car today everythihg was fine but i reached in the back seat and grabbed someting off the floor and felt the carpet was soaked.. seems like it is only in the passenger side rear floor...

Actually it is common. my first camaro was an 87 iroc -tops. You gotta remember, its a some-what old car. they probably dry out, peel off, deteriorate etc.. What i did was jus replace mine. Ive herd people use like wetherstriping gunk on it, but it never last and just looks horrible and cheap.

it's a very common problem, sometimes it can be fixed with weather strips if that is the problem, sometimes the body is tweaked a little which throws the alignment of the t-tops off a little and causes them to leak due to spirited driving of a weak unibody car without subframe connectors.
