My 91 Firebird was recently broken into and the after market radio/CD was stolen. The punks pretty much ripped it out and left the A/C control unit hanging.

I've started to search for a replacement housing or frame (not sure what to call it) that stores the A/C control unit and the radio but I'm not sure what the correct name would be. Could someone help me ID it with it's proper name? That will help me with trying to get a part ordered. I've attached an interior picture with a red arrow pointing to the part in question. This isn't my actual car, just a pic I found on ebay.

You may want to check year one's web site to make sure this is the right part number, but my catolog shows it as a Radio Trim Plate with mounting clips.

you could try ecklers camaro or hawksthirdgen as well theyve had stuff like that before or go jack one from a junk yard if you can find a car like yours.

 

Are you talking about the plastic trim piece that snaps in around the radio and A/C controls or the actual bracket that the A/C control bolts to?

Your best bet for either one is the junk yard.....cheap, no shipping costs, and they're VERY plentiful.

What part of Texas are you in?

 

I searched for "firebird radio trim" on ebay, and quickly found this:

Note that that one is NOT for the digital dash, the digital climate panel is narrower than the normal one.
