heat just stopped

heat just stopped

i dont know if this is the right thread but, I had perfect heat in my 87 ta. It was so good you had to turn it off after a few mins. well about 2 days ago i noticed it was only blowing cold even at 200 degrees. i checked coolant, fuse, etc. any help?

Try checking the heater diverter valve, it may be stuck, or unplugged. It's the big plastic box on the passenger side of the engine bay, with all of the hoses going to it. If it's plugged in, try tapping on it with a wrench - that may free it up if it's stuck. Also, do you have the digital gauges? If so, there's an electric module that moves the temp flapper door from cold to hot, not a cable like the normal setup. That could also be stuck on cold.

Yes i have the digital dash. And where is this electronic thing located?
