I live in the winnipeg area. Ive called auto wrecking yards.. posted want ads. ive looked on ebay and ive seen black leather out of a 2002 t/a for $900 plus shipping. Im not sure i want to have my seats refinished as the price would be compairable.

Keep looking on ebay. I just bought a set of black 2002 TA seats in very good to excellent condition for 399.00 plus 139.00 shipping. I have seen identical seats go for up to 800.00 plus shipping over the last two weeks! Just keep watching and bidding and you'll get lucky like I did.

Lol buddy, good luck. I got a 89 Firebird and I've been looking for 4th gen seats for a looong time now. I live in Winnipeg to man. I feel your pain lmao. If only the 4th Gens from the MPI auctions went to the junk yards instead of private buyers it would'nt be so hard...

Re: Trying to locate 4th gen seats
Not sure if this helps or not but RCar has a set of tan ones for sale. Not sure how much it'd be for shipping to canada but He has them listed for 375 shipped to us down a bit further south of you. Shoot him a pm and see what he can do on the shipping. IF I'm not mistaken they make a dye for the seats dont they. I seem to remember a guy on a mustang forum dye'n his seats from one color to black and they looked great.

Re: Trying to locate 4th gen seats
Dying seats is easy actually, as long as you use the right stuff. Krylon and that stuff is junk. If you want the job to come out good, and to last you a while too, then you gotta spend the big bucks and get SEM. SEM makes a landau black that matches our interiors black perfectly for seats and interior plastics. As long as you follow the direction PROPERLY, It will come out great. I did all my interior plastics, and front seats with this stuff. I've had them painted for a year and was my daily driver, and theres no signs of wear except one scuff in the hatch from when I was test fitting my sub box.
Dying the seats to the colour you want is the easy part. GETTING the seats at a good price (not this 1000$ for a decent set bs) up here, is the hard part.
