seat swap

ok so the seats in my iroc needs to be replaced. i have a beautiful set of seats out of a 69 camaro. will these fit in my iroc? i also have a gt grant steering wheel for my car but it doesnt bolt up where my original one does. i have the thing to swap it out so it fits but i cant seem to take the old one off. is there a certain tool i need to do this? when i took the one main boldt out of the center it still wouldnt pop off. thanks

The '69 seats won't bolt in without some modification to the tracks. It would be easiest to try and use your existing seat tracks with the 69 seats. To remove the steering wheel, you need a steering wheel puller (usually the same tool as a harmonic balancer puller) - it's pressed onto the steering shaft. You can buy one from autozone/o'reillys for around $15.

You might even be able to rent it. I like my Grant very much. Check my Car Details, should you be curious about it.

alright thanks for the reply. ill just try and find one somewhere.i thought it was weird that it wouldnt pop off. i wasnt aware that you needed a tool. and i check out your car jamesc. its very nice. ive been thinking of painting mine the same color.
