It is the inflatable restraint. Airbag. If it is lite, the airbag system has a fault.

Thanks i know the airbag thats in it doesnt work, because it just sits on the wheel, if i take the wheel off and replace it with a steering wheel that doesnt have an airbag, and just take the light out of the gauge will it pass inspection like that
