Steering wheel questions

What is the differance between a air bag steering column and a non air bag one. (other then the air bag DUH) I want to replace the steering wheel and it says it will fit Camaro 1969-1994 non airbag steering column

????? Didnt think there was a differance but still needed to ask the question

Is the shaft size different?

Anyone had to do anything special when they replaced there air bag steering wheel ????

Re: Steering wheel questions

No difference, it will fit, changed lots of them.
The shaft is the same size. Follow the instructions
for your wheel, an adapter kit will likely be required.

Re: Steering wheel questions

i had a grant wheel and adapter on my 91. now i have a stock 85 leather wrapped wheel. if you change out the wheel, the easiest way to get rid of the air bag light is to pull the bulb
