I don't know if you can get the inner door panel off if the door is stuck closed. You can get the door handle off and the latch cover off with the door closed though. That may be enough to get you out of a jamb. Once you have the trim panel off that is behind the inner door handle you may be able to jiggle the door locking rod to release it. That is probably all that is wrong. Hopefully the plastic joint that connects the lock to the rod is not broken. If so you may need to rip off the inner door panel to repair it and replace it when you're done.

Yeah.. not to thread jack but im having the same problem. The outer door handle broke so i took the door panel off to replace the handle.. now it wont hook up correctly.. i closed the door and now it wont open.. took it too a body shop and he got it too open.. worked for a bit.. then stopped working.. my dad tried man handling it.. broke my inside door handle and now my door doesnt work at all.. i can't even get it to open by pulling on the rods..
I think i'll have to take it to a body shop again.. but is there any suggestions on how i might be able to fix it?

Then yes, take the trim panel off and see what happened. Hopefully nothing broke or bent, something just came undone. If the outside handle rod came out of the handle it may require a new retainer. If it was pulled out of the latch it probably bent the rod. Post what you find if you need more help.
And since you have the door apart lube your latch and your window tracks with some white lithium spray grease.

Is your trim panel off or on right now? If the panel is on and you are sure the door is unlocked you should be able to roll the window down and go in thru the top window opening and work the latch by hand with a long screwdriver or a thin stick or something. When you get it open and the trim panel off unhook the rod to the outside door lock if you have to. If it's not installed properly and in a bind then it will prevent the door from opening. Let us know what you find.
