redoing t-top headliner on a budget

redoing t-top headliner on a budget
well went for a drive today with the tops off if i look at my headliner there is cracks and tears in it. it really makes the car look bad with t-tops off. anyone know any cheap ways of fixing this. I was thinking of going to my local fabric store buying tan fabric and us some 3m sticking headliner sprey. I really don't want to pay 200 dollors for a t-top headliner. thanks
