2 cent heater - HVAC control repair.

My controls wouldn't put heat anywhere but the window. Bought 2 sets of controls from Ebay & neither were in working condition. So I found the common problem & a cheap and easy fix.

Pic 1) The tab breaks/cracks on this pin that holds the vaccum chambers together.
Pic 2) Tabs still intact on the top one but weak and cracked so vaccum leak, control no worky.
Pic 3) The 2 cent install. They are not jammed all the way in because that slide has to pass over the pennys.

Dont know if they will ever fall out. But I am gonna find out before I drill and install a nut & bolt set up.

Helpful HVAC control removal hints.
1) Unbolt the vac assemble on the back right from the controls. Cause those slip on lock washers will **** you off.
2) The cable has a relese tab on the top back. Big enough to use your finger or a small flat screwdriver.
