Who has the best price on carpet for my T/A?
Hi everyone,
I have seen prices from $149 to $299 for carpet for our cars. What differences in quality have you guys seen in carpet sets or are they all made by ACC and there is just that big of a difference in each vendors pricing? Who has the best price?
Thanks,
Jason

Typically the $150 carpet is just for the passenger carpet, the $240+ is for passenger and hatch carpets.
I ordered my carpet from stockinteriors.com a few weeks ago. I can't say much about durability yet but the carpet looks like an OEM replacement, it's ACC made. I did spring for the mass backing, raised the price $60 (total $320 shipped) but is well worth it imo.
I did a bit of research before buying mine and it seems that most replacement molded carpets are made by ACC (at least when they said the brand it was ACC, not all listed the brand). The main difference I could see between different vendors were additional options, stockinteriors offered mass backing at a decent price and was highly recommended.
I would like to add one more thought. You having a convertible you'll have a much easier time then I did installing a new carpet.... at one point I even considered cutting the top of my T/A off and just welding it back on when I was done

We carry the ACC carpets here's a link to the Firebird section on our site. If you need a color sample sent shoot me a pm with your full name and shipping address ph# and email and I'll send one out for free. Black is black no shade difference.
The quality's great, they come premolded just like the origional. Also they're not listed but we do offer the Mass backed ones as well.

1aauto's carpets are good the ACC grey will fade to a little lighter in the first 2 years if parked outside. Here is my install of the carpet.http://www.cardomain.com/ride/384500/5

After putting my carpet in yesterday (thanks Tony and Dan at 1AAuto), I have to give credit to you guys who tackle this project in coupes, because it took most of the day in a convertible!!!! I can't imagine having to do this without being able to at least stand up every once in awhile to adjust the carpet or get the console in and out.
