Re: where to get 4th gen seats

I've been keeping an eye on craigslist and ebay.

On craigslist look for people selling parts off a fourthgen and ask if they are selling the seats as well, found a few sets like that but they weren't quite what I was looking for.

There are almost always at least a few full sets on ebay, some people want a lot more then I'm willing to pay though and the shipping charge some people want is insane (like $250+) so keep an eye on that and not just the price of the seats.

What's wrong with junk yard seats? I've scored several sets from junk yards that were in pristine condition extremely cheap.

I'll likely sell this set I just removed. Where are you located?

Pickup is best if you're nearby. Shipping is expensive yes. I just had a complete set shipped from PA to NY for $100. Had a quote from a west coast recycler to ship a set from CO to NY for $150. Anything else IMHO is gouging.

Pretty sure those aren't 4th gen seats... They look like 3rd gen seats. Just so he knows what you are offering...

Anyway. Best places Ive found seats have been EBAY, swap meets, and tacreations.

I got my set from ebay. Found a guy local, asked if he'd end the auction early if I gave him cash and picked them up the next day...and he agreed. I got what I felt was a decent deal...probably way less than if I would have left the auction end.

Here is a link...check out what they have listed...and also give them a call for stuff not on the site. Ive heard good things about em.

Re: where to get 4th gen seats

I found some good front seats off of Craigslist for $20. In perfect shape till i broke them in with a cigarette . Just a small hole though.

Then one day me, & my dad where on our way to the junk yard. He said, "I dont think you will ever find the rear seats to match your new front seats". Just like that, I found the rear seats, in the junk yard, in great shape. I didnt even care if I found them or not. I never ride in the back anyways. The rear seats cost me $15. I am very happy with my 4th gen seats. They are a lot better. Hold you in very well. Also, what a deal.

I dont pay much for most my parts if I can wait, thats what I do. Deals are out their. I just got some long tube headers for free. Also about to go pick up a 3" ypipe with mid pipe at the junk yard for $15. All I will need is a muffler. So for under $100, I will have a nice exhaust system.
