T-Top Lock Fell Out!

Transmission: 700 R4
Axle/Gears: 2.43 Gear Ratio
T-Top Lock Fell Out!
Does anyone know how to put the lock back into a t-top that has fallen out? It will only fit one way, but when I put it back in it just falls out again. Am I missing something?

Its held in by a slide clip.Looks similar to the ones that hold the door locks and rear hatch lock in place
