Help finding new plastic trim connectors/bolts
I'm trying to recover my headboard using some fiberglass resin and carpet (resin smells great btw). To get the headliner out I had to remove the A-pillar trim that extents along top of window and the B-pillar trim panel on back edge of door window. Both panels have some plastic christmas tree looking fastners. Also, the A-pillar panel has some flat plastic fastners that allow the trim panel to slide onto the roof frame. I broke both of these connector types removing the panels. Does anybody know where I can get replacements? I might go ask around at some part stores (NAPA, Carquest, Autozone, etc). I figure they have to be pretty common on Chevy's in the 80's. Thanks!

try the dealer
you would be suprised that the cost is not that high on plastic clips.
Most auto parts stores have a generic clip that can fit several things.
A fastenal store might be another option, but I do not know the extent of their plastic clips.
Resin does smell good, take care of that buzzed little brain cell!
Did you say "carpet"????

The flat clips from the A-pillar can be had at the stealership - $20 for a bag of the right number (thus 'stealership') - I just got a set last week.
The round ones are available at any parts store.
