alright so i recently swapped out the interior from a 1986 trans am, into my 88 firebird. my problem is that the firebird old back rest only had one clamp. the trans am's rear seats folded down individually. is there a spot on my car were i could bolt the other clamp, so that both seats will clamp?

 

You installed a set of split folding rear seats. There is a tech article on how to do it. https://www.thirdgen.org/splitseat. That hardest part is getting the bracket off the donor car.
