drivers seat problem
Hey everybody
Lately I've been having an issue with my drivers seat, non-power.
I'm not sure if it's worn out, or if there is a bolt missing or something, but the seat easily rocks back and forth on the hinge that adjusts the seat angle. I think on the 92 seats it's the lever down in front but closest to the door. Just by sitting back to the back part of the seat, the entire seat pivots back on that one adjustment point. It's as if something is really worn out, or slipping or something. I'm not sure
I was wondering if there was a possible way to "rebuild" seat tracks and mechanisms, since the seats are in otherwise great condition, or if it would make sense to just bite the bullet and find a nice set of 4th gen seats?
Thanks!

Re: drivers seat problem
the slide assembly can be changed out, it has 4 bolts that attach into the lower seat pan.
as far as a replacement, the wrecking yard is you least expensive bet.

Re: drivers seat problem
Oh ok, I'll have to find some replacement sliding assemblies. I didn't know they weren't built right into the seat.
Thanks!!
