I have a problem when i bought my 86 trans am the button for the trunk lid to open worked or so i think

It has sat in my garage for about 5 years and i went to use it and its not working

Only thing i can think is that my dad cut the wire for it without knowing when we were taking out the shitty installed viper alarm system/remote start

Any ideas cuz I'm out of them.

 

Uh nvm after i posted it i hit the button with my elbow lookign for somehtign and it works now
