hi there,i just bought my daughter her first car and i need to repair a few things before a surprise her with it.. its a 86 T/A and its in real good shape no winters! thats huge for being from mi.. any way, i need a drivers side seat replacement or recover in a factory design. its a two tone, grey in the center and i think saddle, or a sandy color on the sides? also i need a new ceiling board in the saddle color? for a t-top with over head console.. any thoughts people..let me know thanks again

 

you can always do some ebay shopping to look for another seat. if you wanted to replace all the seats to the best of my knowledge even the 4th generation f body seats (front and back) will bolt right in. so checking your local junk yard or craigslist posting might bring your daughter some nice leather seats all around.

I was just watching truck U on speed channel, and they said that I think Duplicolor now makes spray paint for seats, and they turned a seat from grey, to a two tone black and gray, and it looked real nice, real cheap and it only took the guy less than 30 minutes including getting the seat out of the truck, you might wana look into it as a cheap fix.

Dan,please contact me through a PM and i will give you a mailing address. i would like to keep it original. i have a 3 ring binder full of paper work from day one! i also think it may have a HO motor in it? i have the order paper work and deliverer papers to the dealer. i just need to decode it..being the second owner she will have to understand this maybe a rare car..we are used to rare cars, having a yenko nova, a rs z/28 69 camaro and a ss454 chevelle convertible..a winter ride will be being used, for sure!!
