tripping a back hatch lock?
hey guys, im having problems with my back hatch lock because i unlocked it when the battery was dead and now i cant get it to do anything, but i heard if you trip the lock it works again?
how would i be able to do this?

Look down in the latch, you'll see a little black plastic switch that gets pressed when the hatch striker locks in place. Push that black switch down with your finger tip, the pull down will pull the latch down. Hold it down long enough, you'll hear a click, release the switch and then it'll start back up.

The track was very wet for a good part of the long weekend and the Lock meant that it was easier to feel the car responding to the changes in track surface without the otherwise inevitable bracing of hands knees and elbows against the wheel and interior fittings on the corners.
