My 1992 fiebird has the same steering wheel basically as a 2002 lotus espirit steering wheel( i really like how it looks) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-...item4a9de3f960 heres the link. have any of you tried putting that steering wheel on there 1992 birds. can it be done? does is it the same charcoal greay as the original? and can i put the pontiac airbag in the lotus steering wheel. so the steering wheel would say pontiac and the outer sheel of the wheel is a lotus. or am i just dreaming.

P.S. the reason im doing this as you all may know that after a while the 1992 steering wheel starts cracking and if i buy another one just like it then it will start doing the same thing. So im trying to find a steering wheel that looks stock but does not crack.

 

Lotus and some Saturns used the exact same steering wheel as 90-92 Firebirds.

 

Well i knew that saturns had my steering wheel but who wants a steering wheel out of a saturn . But even having the same steering wheel out of a lotuc cancels that out. But seriously ive been looking at the lotus steering wheel and i saw that steering wheel was lighter tone of color than th one in my car. I basically want a steering wheel just like mine but leather wrapped and i dont care wut kinda car it comes out of just as long as it looks stock and that its leather wrapped. But i was just wondering if anyone has done this or thought about doing this. if so let me know how it went.
