Car: 1984 Trans Am *sold*/1999 Trans Am
Engine: 5.0 305/5.7 LS1
Transmission: 700r4 Auto/M6 6-speed manual
Axle/Gears: 3.23/3.23
later style console in an 84
Does anyone know if an 85-92 (or whatever they went from) style console will fit into place of an 84 Trans Am? I'm planning on doing some interior work, and theres an 89 TA thats being parted out that I'm thinking of buying the interior from.

the console will swap right in but u also need to take the radio pod that is a seperate piece.
not sure if you have to make a bracket or drill a hole a two to mount the pod but the console itself will bolt right in.
