Taking out rear seats 90 iroc

I would like to take out my rear seats beacuse i going to clean out the whole car and i was wondering how to do it.

Im pretty sure i have to take off the seat belt right?

you mean the seat buckets or the back too? there's no reason to take the back out for a cleaning.. the way they move up and down, they dont cover anything you can't get to in one of the two positions

as for the buckets, it's one 13mm bolt right at the front middle of the seat... just get down on the floorboard and you'll see it

yeah i took out the buckets already just need the back attached to the seatbelts.

if you really want them out then yes, you have to take off the seatbelts.

i think it's a t-27 torx. Be careful, they use loctite from the factory, and I've snapped off two of those bolts before


if you do snap one per seat, no big deal. if you snap both of them, that's a big deal

I would say only remove the seat if you HAVE to, not if you just want to. I removed mine, but had replacements to go back in

if you're just unbolting them to clean behind them, then I guess you don't have to remove the belt, just lay them in your hatch area with the belt attached
