I bought new locks for my 84 TA from Year One. I got the hatch lock in OK, but I'm wondering how to change out the door locks and ignition lock.

The door locks don't seem hard to change, but space is the issue. Any pics or suggestions on how to do this?

Same question with the ignition lock, or would it just be easier to let a pro mechanic do this one?

The door locks are held by a C shaped metal clip, just pull that clip with a big flathead screwdriver and the lock it will come loose. There is another metal clip that holds the rod, use a small flathead screwdriver for this.
I've always done this with the window removed though.
