Car: 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z
Engine: 355 SBC
Transmission: TH350 with 3500 stall
Axle/Gears: GM 12-bolt with 4.10 gears
Fasten seat belt light
Hi, how is the fasten seat belt light supposed to work in a 1982 Z28? Is it supposed to come on when you start the car and then slowly fade away? Or should it be on at all times the seat belt isn't fastened? It's never worked before and now suddenly it came on

Not sure for the '82, but I would assume it's the same as my '86. I believe it's supposed to come on at start and then fade to off. Mine is being intermittent however. It sometimes comes on and stays on, other times it won't come on at all. I'm guessing it has something to do with a timer or relay, etc... I haven't really looked at the schematic yet.

Allright thnx, I took out the convenience center box thursday and got in an accident that same day
