Center Switch
Stupid ? of the day what is the center switch for on the console between the window switches on an 86 Z
.I just picked this car for a coupla hundred bucks so will be asking alot of stupid ? for awhile Thanks

the only stupid/dumb is the question is the one that is not asked . that said , it should be remote hatch release . on my car its the elect. door lock , an aftermarket install . i also have aftermarket power windows . good luck and remember my first comment .

same question! Thanx... but mines does not work...the switch is missing and there is a orange and brown wire hangin out! when i touch both i hear a clicking somwhere and see a spark! is the hatch suppose to open? if so:
must i replace a relay or the entire motor?
or is it safe to just try the switch first?
